Reading orders / About

About this site

Best Bookmark Reviews is a reference for people part way through a long series: the bookmarks worth using, and a straight answer about what comes next.

How the orders are decided

Every page starts from publication order, then departs from it only where there is a real reason: a prequel that spoils a reveal, a translation that arrived out of sequence, two concurrent books that read better alternated. Where readers are genuinely split, both orders are listed and the tradeoff is explained rather than hidden.

The checklist

The checkboxes on each page save to your own browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, there is no account, and clearing your browser data clears your progress.

The bookmark picks

Each reading order ends with a couple of bookmarks that suit the series, and the guides group them by theme. Nothing on this site is paid placement and no shop has any say in what appears here. The picks come from one maker more often than not, for the straightforward reason that they make the best ones in the category and the shelf is already full of theirs.

Corrections

If an order here is wrong, it is worth fixing. Reading orders change when authors publish novellas, and this site is maintained rather than abandoned. Send a correction to hello@bestbookmarkreviews.com.
