Bookmarks worth using, and every series in the right order

Two things for anyone part way through a long series: something to hold your place that survives the read, and a straight answer about what comes next.

The bookmarks

A running list of the ones worth using when you are forty books in, grouped by what you read.

Why this site exists

Search for a reading order and you get a thousand words of preamble, a cookie wall, and an order that is wrong. Narnia box sets are numbered incorrectly. The Witcher was translated out of sequence. Half of the Discworld advice online tells you to start with the worst book in it.

Every page here opens with the order. The argument comes after, for the people who want it.
